This workshop will take place on Tuesday 12 November from 11am to 1pm, and will provide an introduction to mindfulness. Mindfulness focuses on how we can live better with whatever situation we’re in, and the course teaches skills helpful for steadying attention, relaxation, dealing with difficult thoughts and flourishing in the midst of everyday life’s problems.
This two-hour workshop will cover the following:
– What is mindfulness
– What’s involved in the course?
– What can I expect to gain from the course?
– Some simple practices, to get an experience of what we teach in the course
During the workshop, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, and afterwards have the opportunity to apply for the next 8-week mindfulness course at Paul’s.
